The West End-based Tactiv has worked with MFAT since 2014 to test, design and configure Enquire Project Portfolio Management (PPM), a full lifecycle program management software solution.
Tactiv Managing Director Simon Warner said the company is taking on new staff to scale Enquire’s expansive capabilities to support large enterprises and international operations.
Over the last 12 months we have doubled our staff to over 30 to help with product development, project delivery and SaaS support, he said.
“Since we released Enquire in 2005 Tactiv has continually developed the software to meet market demand for a complete lifecycle grant, project and contract management system which integrates with other core business platforms.
“Today Enquire manages over $18 billion worth of grants across 50 commercial organisations and government departments throughout Australia and internationally.
“These include Qld’s Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Department of National Parks, Sports and Racing, NSW’s Office of Emergency Services and the World Health Organization.”
Member for South Brisbane Jackie Trad welcomed the news that new jobs were being created in South Brisbane. “This is a great example of what the Palaszczuk Government is looking to support with its Advance Queensland initiative,” Ms Trad said.
Mr Warner went on to say “Government agencies and private organisations that deliver government funded programs are demanding auditable and reliable information on how public funds are invested and what is achieved.”
Enquire helps to increase the value for money from public spending and improve the responsiveness and efficiency of administrative systems, while improving data quality, compliance and reporting capability.
Mr Warner said “As government changes the way they deliver services and are looking for greater efficiency returns, the market for the Enquire solution will increase.
“Clients appreciate the system’s flexibility and how it is adaptive to new program initiatives and future needs as programs scale up.”
Mr Warner said Tactiv was now focused on medium to large government departments in Australia and New Zealand as well as corporate and not-for-profit organisations in Australia, the US, UK and Canada.
Ms Trad said she “was pleased to see Queensland Government agencies such as Sport and Recreation working with Queensland based SMEs to build international capacity and expertise in Queensland”.
Tactiv will be looking for investment to finance growth and meet market demand for Enquire.
