Simon Warner | Executive Chairman

Simon has been a Director of Tactiv since it was formed in 2011. Prior to this he chaired the joint management committee that developed the original Enquire solution. Until recently he was also Chief Executive Officer and Director of SEQ Catchments Ltd which is now Healthy Waterways and Catchments. He was also Chairman of SEQC Offsets Ltd.

He is an experienced corporate manager with significant involvement in a wide range of senior executive roles including Chief Operating Officer, and General Manager Logistics and Human Resources with Grainco Australia. Simon is currently a Member of Regional Development Australia – Ipswich and West Moreton Committee.

Simon has also held Director positions with the Port of Brisbane Corporation, Bulk Terminals Australia, Australian Bulk Alliance, and Grainco Australia Limited Subsidiary Companies. He was also Chairman of the National Grower Register.

Bardhold Blecken | Director

Bardhold is a former IT Manager and System Architect.

Bardhold is a Board Member of the Queensland Water and Land Carers Association Inc, Treasurer of the Queensland Conservation Council Association Inc and Vice President of the Gold Coast Catchment Association.

Bardhold has served as a Director of SEQ Catchments (now Healthy Waterways and Catchments), Chairman and Director of Regen Australia and was Treasurer of the SEQC Members Association.

Bardhold is a director of Healthy Waterways and Catchments (previously SEQ Catchments) and was chair of the Audit and Finance Committee.

Robert Smith | Director

Robert is the former Deputy Mayor of Boonah Shire Council and has 14 years’ experience in local government. During his time in Local Government he has held portfolios including Finance, Natural Resource Management, and Transport.

He is the former Chairman of SEQ Catchments (now Healthy Waterways and Catchments), serving in this role for six years, and prior to that as a Board Director and member of the Audit and Finance Committee for two years.

Robert has also held many senior executive management roles in business and aviation.

His previous Board positions include, South East Queensland Regional Recreation Facilities Ltd, Directorships with the Queensland Deaf Society, Australian Youth Ballet, Regional Groups Collective and Finance and Audit Committee.

Damien Zeller | Executive Director

Damien has worked on many software design and development projects and has been active in the technology industry since the emergence of cloud based commercial software systems. He works closely with clients in the social impact sector – government, NGOs, foundations and not-for-profits to enable the delivery of effective outcomes through the implementation of Enquire.

Damien spearheaded the original Enquire product and its introduction to the Australian market. He has over 14 years experience in the grants management sector.

His expertise in technology and grants management put Damien at the forefront of the sector, influencing how technology can drive growth, transparency and efficiency for social impact programs. He is a recognised expert, leader and speaker in the sector.

Nik Vassilev | General Manager, Director

As General Manager of Tactiv, Nik’s role incorporates oversight of financial operations, customer success, management of implementations and direction for product development and future strategy.

Nik has extensive experience working on many large-scale IT projects in the natural resources, international aid, not-for-profit and finance sectors, working closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure the right outcomes are achieved. Nik holds an MBA, degrees in IT and Business from QUT, and is a certified Project Management professional.

For more than a decade Nik has always been passionate about enabling organisations around the globe to do more good everyday through the use of Enquire and engaging with government, not-for-profit, philanthropic and commercial clients to ensure Enquire delivers the innovation and transformative capabilities these sectors demand.

Ally Roe | Chief Financial Officer

Ally is responsible for managing the corporate services function at Tactiv comprising finance, HR and legal. Her extensive technical and commercial skill set includes management reporting, forecasting, due diligence, financial and operational analysis, and budgeting. 

Ally has gained a broad range of experience in both listed and non-listed environments, in a ‘Big 4’ accounting firm and in national and multi-national companies as well as in the not-for-profit sector. 

As a CA qualified accountant with over a decade of experience in Australia and the UK, Ally has developed a broad base of financial, operational and strategic knowledge enabling her to drive growth through leading Tactiv’s corporate services function.

Business Team Leads

Our teams are made up of experienced subject matter experts, each with their area of focus. They understand our clients, and their team, complementing each other and contributing to Tactiv’s excellent product offering. What we all have in common is passion, devotion and a genuine wish to help empowering organisations to do good.

Jarrod Forsdyke | Head of Product Development

Jarrod has a career of over 20 years in designing and developing cloud based web applications for Trading, Finance, Publishing and Grant Management systems. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering and Data Communications from QUT.

Jarrod developed the original Enquire product in 2005 and now helps shape the product strategy and design through to implementation of the User Experience and Cloud-based software architecture.

Malcolm Fong | Head of Technology

Malcolm has over 21 years’ experience within the IT industry, working for a tier 1 IT services company and a semi government organization gaining insights into valuable vendor services and the ‘client’ experience. Malcolm’s roles have largely focused on solution development, design and architecture and he holds certifications from the Open Architecture Group (TOGAF) for architecture method and ITIL for IT service management.

Malcolm fulfils the role of Head of Technology at Tactiv overseeing Tactiv’s technology architecture and infrastructure, developing architectures and fostering positive client relationships to ensure the successful delivery of solutions that provide real business value and benefits.

Michaela Newton | Implementation Manager (NZ)

Michaela provides on ground implementation leadership in New Zealand and works closely with our New Zealand clients to help them digitise business processes using lean process engineering and design thinking. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and a Diploma of Technology and has 20 years’ of international experience in the IT sector bringing practical solutions to complex business problems.

Michaela has a wide experience in delivering outcomes for customers in grants, procurement and contract management, project management, impact reporting and information management fields. With her extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of Enquire, she works directly with our customers from project inception through to delivery and transition.

Matthias Levy | Business Analyst

Matthias, moved from France to Australia over 20 years ago, worked first on many IT projects offline then migrating online when the development of the internet reached the greater public in the 90s. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Genetics and Honours in Cognitive Science, Matthias has a solid scientific background.

Matthias has been with Tactiv since its creation and has a strong focus on application, user experience and usability, such as screen flow and page layout. With strong communication skills, a high level of attention to detail and an open approach, he is closely involved with clients taking their requirements and translates it into a live system.

Vanessa Crowther | Customer Success Manager

Vanessa has worked in cloud based enterprise system implementation in the natural resource management, health, transport and government sectors. Vanessa understands the process of implementation and is well versed in assisting and guiding people through change and transition. She works closely with our customers to ensure they gain optimal business benefit from our products.

At home, Vanessa spends time running from her goats and rooster and tending to her always underwatered garden (using tank water).

Tara Endenburg | Digital Marketing Manager

Tara has a broad marketing background, with experience in both Europe and Australia, in a variety of industries, such as finance, software and most recently as marketing manager in the construction industry. Tara holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and has undertaken several additional educational activities to stay on top of changing marketing practices.

Tara understands our customer, the challenges of grant management and makes the market see the power of Enquire and the value Tactiv adds to organisations in the philanthropic, government and not-for-profit sector.

Clyde Maclean | Sales and Implementation Coordinator

Clyde has a background in Business Management in the hospitality and tourism sector. With more than 20 years’ experience in customer engagement, Clyde joined the Tactiv Customer Success team in October 2016.

Now an Enquire champion, Clyde has extensive and diverse experience in implementing Enquire for a range of different organisations, including local, state and federal government tiers and not-for-profit and social enterprise organisations. With in-depth product knowledge and excellent customer engagement skills, Clyde onboards and works together collaboratively with new clients to configure Enquire aligned to their organisation.
